NYCC Junior Board – NYCC at Nite (October 6, 2017 at Slate)
NYCC’s Junior Board threw a bash where we broke out our game night skills, let out our inner kid and raised funds for the kids of the New York Center for Children. Kid-tested eats & games were on the menu, along with adult beverages. The event was 21 & up, and was definitely better than watching re-runs of “Double Dare”. For details please click here.

Junior Committee Fall Fête (November 17, 2016)
NYCC’s Junior Committee held a festive evening featuring an open bar, delicious bites, and a fabulous silent auction. Ornaments created by NYCC clients were for sale at the event. The JC NYCC is a dynamic group of young professionals committed to raising funds and awareness to support NYCC’s services.

Polished Man (October 2016)
NYCC was excited to partner with the Polished Man Campaign as the sole U.S. beneficiary for the second year in a row. The international fundraising and awareness campaign runs all of October and asks men to paint one fingernail with nail polish to bring awareness to the 1 in 5 children who experience violence worldwide.

Skyline Restoration 8th Annual Golf Classic (July 11, 2016)
NYCC participated in Skyline’s 8th Annual Golf Outing at the Village Club of Sands Point which raised funds for NYCC and 3 other charities.

NYCC Spring Open House (May 19, 2016)
NYCC welcomed professional colleagues, sponsors and volunteers for tours of our child friendly facility to learn more about our programs.

NYCC Spring Celebration (April 16, 2016 at the Peninsula New York)
Over 100 distinguished friends and supporters gathered to celebrate NYCC’s work, raising over $100,000 for our services to help children heal from abuse.

Masquerade Soirée (September 21, 2015)
NYCC’s Masquerade Soirée was held at one of New York’s premier restaurants, CHEFS CLUB, 275 Mulberry St, New York, NY 10012. Evening festivities included creative hors d’oeuvres, specialty cocktails, a spirited DJ, silent auction, and a few surprises. Our Center’s children, in an annual tradition, created artful masks for guests to wear.

The Sunflower Party (August 7, 2015)
Benefitting the New York Center for Children, this fundraising event was held in the home of Henry Buhl in Southampton.

20th Anniversary Celebration (Spring)
NYCC was delighted to introduce the newest members of the Board of Directors at the 20th Anniversary Celebration on April 15, 2015. Event took place at the Peninsula Hotel, New York.

20th Anniversary Celebration (Fall)
For 20 years, NYCC has provided healing, prevention and education to the City of New York. NYCC’s 20th Anniversary Celebration on October 6, 2014, hosted by Kate and Andy Spade, was one for the history books!

Spring Cocktail Reception at the Peninsula, New York, hosted by Carolyn and Kevin Ryan
NYCC’s 19th annual Spring Gala was held on May 29, 2014. Over 130 guests attended the event. Hors d’oeuvres and cocktails were accompanied by a raffle and silent auction in support of NYCC’s work on behalf of abused children.

An Evening of Old Hollywood Glamour
NYCC’s Junior Committee hosted “An Evening of Old Hollywood Glamour” at Magnises on June 8, 2014. Guests enjoyed cocktails, conversation and a silent auction with items from Kate Spade, Dauphine’s, Daniel Boulud, Stomp, Townhouse Spa, Manhattan Sailing School and many others.

NYCC’s 19th Anniversary Celebration hosted by Kate Spade
NYCC’s 19th Anniversary Celebration on October 1, 2013 was a beautiful and successful evening, raising $70,000 for NYCC. Close to 100 friends and sponsors gathered in support of NYCC’s work on behalf of abused children.

Spring Celebration at the Lowell Hotel
NYCC’s Junior Committee hosted “Spring Celebration” at the Lowell Hotel on June 6, 2013. Guests enjoyed an intimate evening of cocktails and conversation.

Marty Richards Memorial
On April 8, 2013 friends and luminaries gathered to pay tribute to NYCC’s beloved founder and benefactor Marty Richards at the Edison Ballroom. Chita Rivera hosted the spectacular evening which featured a star-studded retrospective of show stopping numbers from Marty Richards’ Broadway productions. More than 500 guests participated in this wonderful celebration of Marty’s life.

Holiday at the Gansevoort
The Junior Committee’s Holiday at the Gansevoort event on November 29, 2012 was a successful and stylish evening raising funds and awareness for NYCC. More than 100 guests attended the celebration which raised over $16,000 for NYCC’s services through ticket sales and a fabulous silent auction. The children’s wish tree featuring hand made ornaments by NYCC clients was a heartwarming addition to the festive event.

Sunset on the Hudson
NYCC’s Junior Committee hosted “Sunset on the Hudson” at Martha Stewart Living Rooftop on June 28, 2012. Guests were treated to stunning views, lovely wines from South Africa, and an exquisite silent auction. The evening raised over $17,000 for NYCC and the children we serve.

Fall Fete
The New York Center for Children invited supporters to their Fall Féte party and silent auction at BoBo on November 14th. Over 130 guests attended the event. Hors d’oeuvres and cocktails were accompanied by a raffle and silent auction. The event was hosted by the Junior Committee for the New York Center for Children

Speakeasy for Good (May 10, 2011)
The Junior Committee for the New York Center for Children & Michael Andrews Bespoke hosted an evening of entertainment, cocktails & hors d’oeuvres. Featuring cigar rolling, silent auction and a special raffle for a Michael Andrews Bespoke custom suit.
