Marty Richards Memorial

On April 8, friends and luminaries gathered to pay tribute to NYCC’s beloved founder and benefactor Marty Richards at the Edison Ballroom. Chita Rivera hosted the spectacular evening which featured a star-studded retrospective of show stopping numbers from Marty Richards’ Broadway productions. More than 500 guests participated in this wonderful celebration of Marty’s life.

Holiday at the Gansevoort

The Junior Committee’s Holiday at the Gansevoort event on November 29, 2012 was a successful and stylish evening raising funds and awareness for NYCC. More than 100 guests attended the celebration which raised over $16,000 for NYCC’s services through ticket sales and a fabulous silent auction. The children’s wish tree featuring hand made ornaments by NYCC clients was a heartwarming addition to the festive event.

NYCC’s 18th Anniversary Celebration hosted by Kate Spade

NYCC’s 18th Anniversary Celebration on October 1, 2012 was a beautiful and successful evening, raising $70,000 for NYCC. Close to 100 friends and sponsors gathered in support of NYCC’s work on behalf of abused children.

Sunset on the Hudson

NYCC’s Junior Committee hosted “Sunset on the Hudson” at Martha Stewart Living Rooftop on June 28, 2012. Guests were treated to stunning views, lovely wines from South Africa, and an exquisite silent auction. The evening raised over $17,000 for NYCC and the children we serve.

Fall Fete

The New York Center for Children invited supporters to their Fall Féte party and silent auction at BoBo on November 14th. Over 130 guests attended the event. Hors d’oeuvres and cocktails were accompanied by a raffle and silent auction. The event was hosted by the Junior Committee for the New York Center for Children

Speakeasy for Good

On May 10, 2011, The Junior Committee for the New York Center for Children & Michael Andrews Bespoke hosted an evening of entertainment, cocktails & hors d’oeuvres. Featuring cigar rolling, silent auction and a special raffle for a Michael Andrews Bespoke custom suit.
