A Toast to The New York Center for Children
On February 2nd, a toast and travel auction will be held in NYCC's honor at Barcibo Enoteca. Auction prizes include a trip to Parrot Cay, a weekend in New York, and four nights in Dubai for two. Please contact us for more information.

Open Bar Benefit Hosted by Heidi Mitchell and Pilar Guzman
Happy Ending Lounge, a bar in Chinatown near the Lower East Side, graciously hosted an open bar benefit in support of NYCC on Monday, May 4th, 2009. Food was provided by Gourmet Garage and Southern Wines, as the evening's liquor sponsor, supplied three types of vodka as well as a merlot and a chardonnay. The evening was both a successful fundraiser and a wonderful networking event for New York City young professionals looking to get involved in social services and philanthropy.
NYCC's 11th Annual Bowling Ball
On February 28, 2009, The New York Center for Children held our 11th annual Bowling Ball at Chelsea Piers. This year's theme was "Super Heroes" and the event honored not only the cartoon classics, but also the real-world heroes who come to our rescue in many important ways: social workers; teachers; first responders; medical experts; and philanthropists! The event was a wonderful time for all who came and a great success.
14th Anniversary Celebration, Hosted by Kate Spade
Kate Spade, NYCC Co-Chair, and her husband Andy graciously hosted a celebration for NYCC's 14th anniversary on September 25, 2008. The event was a phenomenal success and a wonderful time. Thank you to Gourmet Garage for donating the food. The celebration raised $35,000 for NYCC with over 100 guests attending.
On April 29, 2008, the NYCC Board of Directors hosted a luncheon fundraiser for NYCC honoring Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney and Liz Lange, Founder of Liz Lange Maternity. The luncheon was held at the Jazz Lincoln Center and featured a panel discussion on fostering self-esteem. Nearly 200 people attended and the event raised $70,000 for NYCC.
